Game 4: A Tree, A Celebration and Clockwork Men?

The Order was surprised by the sudden appearance of a large maple tree close to the town square and the church. Their investigation of the tree have so far revealed that it have aetheric magical property. Furthermore, the tree seem to always have been there.

Not so long after the appearance of the tree, the city got busy preparing thanksgiving under the village big maple. The Mayor, Theodore St-Laurent, decided that this year celebration should only be with good christian as recent event have shown the inhabitant of the village need to stick together.

Sister Isable reacted by trying to convince the mayor and all of the town councilors to have an open all inclusive ceremony. In the meantime, Wolf decided to hold a thanksgiving day all of his own that was going to be all inclusive off course. Both got the backing of the Curate, Germain St-Cyre.

In the meantime, Henry and Cosette investigated the sudden appearance of aetheric enegry close to Ariane Coté land which seem to be moving toward the town big maple. Suspicious of a growing pile of dirt on her property, Henry asked the widow if he could examine the barn but got denied over safety reason. However, that did not stop Henry which started digging a big hole toward the aetheric energy. Despite two interruption by the Constable Henry McArthur, of which one nearly got to a fight, they found the source of a the aetheric energy, two sturdy and tireless clockwork men which made quick work of Cosette which had to be rescued by Wolf, Sister Isabel and Henry.

Henry safely secured the clockwork men and the following started investigating them. In the meantime, the Curate had a moving sermon about thanksgiving and the Mayor, Theodore St-Laurent, and the city Councillors decided to hold another meeting at the town hall to discuss the matter in a general meeting.

Game 2 and 3: Deer Spirit Rampage

The men of the J.R. Booth wood cutting operation, led by Gordon Edward, have been cutting tree in interesting pattern drawn on map of the areas. The pattern were forming alchemist rune pattern which you have found can divert the spiritual energy away from this location down south, toward the newly named city of Ottawa.

The Order of St-George quickly found that the largest herd of deer you have seen invaded the wood around the wood cutting operation. The deers are led by a rather uncompromising large deer spirit which have attacked all the woodcutter in the areas.

The Order tried to negotiate or peacefully deal with the deer spirit but all their effort were in vein, as the group soon moved toward the Gilmour wood cutting operation. The Order was however in the area when this happen, due to having to retrieve the metal rod artifact from father Charlemagne who wanted to grant a favor to the chief of the people of the lake.

The battle was fierce, Wolf got torn down by the deer spirits and Cosette finished him off with a dual shot from her shotgun.

The men of the Gilmour operation were thankfull and help you clear out an area in Booth concession to disrupt the pattern over there.

Once back in town, Cosette got granted some honor back in the village with a distinction from the Mayor. Both her and Wolf received some money from the JR Booth companies and not so long after you have herd some members of the people of the deer came to Gilmour concession to perform a ceremony to appease the Deer spirit, some of the men of the Gilmour operation participated, wishing themselves protected from an eventual return of the deer spirit.

Game 1: Beaver River
Beaver, Alchemy, Spirits, People of the Lake

A great beaver was building a great dam that created an evergrowing lake in the area and especially on the land own by the people of the lake. Wolf bought this issue to the attention of the Order of Saint-George which decided to investigate and maybe get some nice large beaver pelt.

After some discussion with the leader of the people of lake to get access to the site the group went to investigate and found out that the beaver could talk and that he seemed compel to build such a large dam.

With the discovery of human footprint in the area it was decided that foul play was involved and the group found a large metal rod in the water. Once pulled out, the beaver started to act out normally and wondered why he build such a big dam.

While Wolf have found that the footprint came from his village, Henri and Marie found out that the metal rod,which is made out of lead, is inscribed with various alchemical symbols.

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.
